After interrupting Taylor Swift's MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech last year, Kanye West looks to take the VMAs stage again this year -- but this time, it's to showcase his music.
Us reports that the rapper will perform at this year's awards show, set to air Sept. 12 on MTV. The set will precede West's untitled fifth album, currently slated for a November release.
Kanye West, MTV Bury Hatchet with 'Power' Premiere
West previously unveiled "Love Lockdown," the lead single to "808s and Heartbreak," at his VMA performance in 2008. The 90-second video "painting" for West's latest single "Power" debuted on MTV last Thursday (Aug. 5), while a follow-up single is expected to be issued in the next few weeks.
