Brad Paisley

Reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Brad Paisley tops the latest Hot Tours rankings with $2.2 million in box office grosses from his American Saturday Night Tour, currently on the road in the U.S.  All four shows reported during the past week were sellouts with Columbus, Ohio's Nationwide Arena producing the top attendance and gross totals.  The Jan. 22 event in the Buckeye State's capital city grossed $741,696 with 13,328 tickets sold.  Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore have been providing support for the tour's 2010 leg that kicked off on Jan. 7 in San Antonio.

Landing at No. 2 on the Hot Tours tally is veteran metal band Guns N' Roses.  The band began the year with a trek through Canada that included the three arenas reporting totals during the past week.  The Bell Centre in Montreal (Jan. 27) drew the largest crowd of the three with over 10,000 fans in attendance.  The MTS Centre in Winnipeg (Jan. 13) and Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City (Feb. 1) also hosted the band on this leg of the tour.  Upcoming tour dates for the group include stops in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru.

Tiësto makes his second appearance of the year on the Hot Tours list, with a No. 3 ranking for the week.  Performances in four Mexican venues produced over $1.2 million (US$) in ticket sales for the Dutch DJ.  The largest crowd (14,100) was at the Hipódromo de las Américas, an outdoor horseracing track in Mexico City.  The Jan. 22 event grossed 8,561,006 pesos (US$669,807).

The first concert totals are in for Nick Jonas & the Administration's Who I Am Tour that began on Jan. 2 at the House of Blues in Dallas.  Reported totals from eight venues place the band fifth among the Hot Tours of the week.  Formed as a side project for Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, the group has been playing theaters and clubs on its early 2010 tour.
