Bon Jovi tops the Hot Tours ranking with box office grosses reported from the June dates of the European leg of its Live 2011 Tour. Ticket sales from 10 markets generated over $38.6 million (US$) during the month, with attendance counts totaling 417,698 from 11 shows. The one city with a two-show run was Dublin with 68,144 fans in attendance on June 29th and 30th at the outdoor sports venue, RDS Arena. The gross topped €4.6 million ($6.4 million US$) from both sold out performances in the Irish capital city. The band kicked off its European itinerary in Croatia on June 8 and played to sellout crowds in Germany, Norway, Finland and Denmark before wrapping the month in the U.K. and Ireland.

Grosses from stadiums in Minneapolis and Pittsburgh, the final two U.S. venues on U2's 360° Tour, give the Irish rockers the No. 2 spot on this week's Hot Tours recap with $10.2 million in ticket sales revenue. A total of 115,666 tickets were sold in both markets, almost 60,000 of them at TCF Bank Stadium, the two-year old football venue at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. The sold out performance on July 23 grossed $5.1 million. The band's final U.S. appearance on the tour came at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh with 55,823 fans in the house on July 26. As previously reported, U2's tour set a Billboard Boxscore record for both gross revenue and attendance.

Mötley Crüe appears in the Hot Tours rankings for the third time since launching its summer tour through North America in June. The band lands at No. 4 this week with ticket sales from 11 performances, adding $5.8 million to the tour's overall gross of $10.7 million. The summer trek has included stops at both amphitheaters and arenas and featured support from the bands Poison and New York Dolls. Total attendance was logged at just over 197,000 from the 20 shows that have been reported.

American Idols Live ranks among the weekly Hot Tours for the third week in a row, landing at No. 5 with box office stats reported from five performances. Promoted by AEG Live, the concert tour features contestants from the 10th season of the American Idol television show, including the winner of the competition, Scotty McCreery and runner-up Lauren Alaina. Grosses from the July performances total $8.9 million with 164,569 tickets sold from 19 shows.
