Enrique Iglesias, Luis Fonsi, Christian Castro, Jencarlos Canela and Gloria Trevi have been added to the roster of stars performing later this month at the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami Beach.

The singers join the recently announced performances by Maná, Pitbull, Camila, Don Omar and Banda El Recodo - internationally recognized artists who will perform on Premios Billboard, April 28, at 8 p.m./7 p.m. Central at the BankUnited Center, airlng live on Telemundo.

Coming off a year of international success with several hits, Enrique Iglesias has made music with other leading acts, which puts him on top of this year's award finalists. Up for 14 awards, the singer's bilingual album "Euphoria" is having a strong response with seven original English-language songs and six original Spanish-language compositions. Singles such as "I Like It," featuring Pitbull, and "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)" peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart, an achievement that makes Iglesias the only single artist to have eight number ones on the chart.

Fonsi, a native of Puerto Rico, returns to the awards show to perform the worldwide television premiere of his single "Gritar" from his new album. His previous CD, "Palabras del silencio," topped the Billboard charts in addition to the singles, "Aqui estoy yo," and "No me doy por vencido," which topped the charts at No. 1 for 21 weeks and was named the pop song of the decade by Billboard's "End of the Decade" report.

Mexican pop singer Castro is also performing. To date, the artist holds 65 gold records and 31 platinum records. His recent "Viva el Principe" became the highest debut album since "Azul" in 2001, debuting at No. 2 on the Top Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums.

Leading actor and singer, Canela, is also performing. The Cuban-American native, who is one of the featured singers in Pitbull's album, "Armando," is doing well with his hit "Caramelo," the Spanish-language version of "I Love Candy." The actor is also staring in Telemundo's upcoming original production, "Mi Corazon Insiste," in which he performs the title song by the same name.

Mexican singer Gloria Trevi recently finished a multinational tour.  Recently she released "Gloria," the follow up LP to "Una Rosa Blu," which led to five No. 1 singles in Mexico and 500,000 units sold worldwide, capped off by a Billboard Latin Music Award in 2009.
