The Who

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder made a surprise guest appearance at The Who's concert in London, last night (Mar. 30).

Vedder joined the legendary British band onstage at London's Royal Albert Hall venue as they performed their 1973 concept album "Quadrophenia" in full for the first time since 1997, when the band took a production on a U.S. tour.  The Pearl Jam singer sang three songs alongside surviving original band members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, including "Punk And The Godfather" and "I've Had Enough."

Tom Meighan, singer with U.K. rock act Kasabian, also made a guest appearance, performing three songs with the band.

The concert formed part of a series of live shows held at the Royal Albert Hall throughout March to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, of which Daltrey is a patron.

Other acts that played the Teenage Cancer Trust 2010 concert series included Noel Gallagher (making his first solo appearance since Oasis split last year), Arctic Monkeys, JLS, Them Crooked Vultures and U.K. alt-rock band Suede, which reformed especially for the shows after a 7-year absence. Vedder previously guested with The Who at a November 2000 Teenage Cancert Trust concert, also at London's Royal Albert Hall.
