There's so much happening on Coachella's five stages (not to mention behind the scenes), that it's impossible to catch everything that goes on around the festival grounds. Here's 10 things we witnessed that you may have missed -- even if you were there.

10 Things Seen & Heard Saturday

1. "Sorry, I just landed," said Cee Lo Green, apologizing for being 30 minutes late to his afternoon main stage set. "It's not my fault; they should have given me a better time slot." The signer rushed through three songs, including a rendition of his Gnarls Barkley smash "Crazy," before announcing that organizers were forcing him offstage. Cee Lo responded appropriately by asking everyone to raise their middle fingers as he broke into "Fuck You." Cee Lo then tried to break into another song, but his attempt was thwarted when his sound was cut.

2. Crystal Castles frontwoman Alice Glass hobbled onto Coachella's side stage with a crutch and a giant cast on her left foot, but the broken ankle did little to slow down the techno banshee. Glass proved as wild as ever as she trashed, crowd-surfed and sometimes crashed her way through the band's kinetic set of alternately lush and jagged electro-pop.

3. Fashion statement of the day? Fanny packs are back! Everyone from the hippest of L.A. hipsters to parents chaperoning little revelers around seemed to have a pouch strapped to their waist. Who knew?

4. As usual, Coachella's VIP area was swarming with all scales of celebs -- from Katy Perry, Lindsay Lohan, Vanessa Hudgens and Usher to festival perennials like the Hilton sisters, Danny Faustino and Danny DeVito (who appeared onstage with Cali rockers the Aquabats). And of course, the paparazzi were out in full force to capture every star-studded move.

5. Speaking of DeVito, we were told by an event staffer that someone in his entourage slipped the employee $80 for bringing the actor a pair of ear plugs after Lauryn Hill's set.

6. L.A. dubstep icon Skrillex introduced rap-rock band Korn onto the Sahara stage to play their new collaboration "Get Up," as well as a remix of a Korn original. The crowd in the dance tent responded with apeshit-level enthusiasm.

7. Raleigh dreamboats the Love Language were spotted backstage at the Mojave tent during the Morning Benders' well-attended set. They're slated for an early performance Saturday at noon at the Outdoor theater.

8. Caught in (another) BAND romance: members of the Drums stuck around, bowlcuts and all, after their set at the Mojave tent to support fellow New Yorkers the Pains of Being Pure at Heart (or as keyboardist Peggy Wang introduced them, "The Pains").

9. Hipster Runoff reported that comedian Aziz Ansari was "bronoodling" with members of Kings of Leon in the VIP lounge, but he didn't "go all the way"-- we spotted Aziz taking off before the band's headlining set in a Buick sedan with friends.

10. Akron, Ohio, duo the Black Keys played its first "nighttime" set (as singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach mentioned with a note of relief in his voice). Keeping it classy, even the gritty blues band's soundcheckers were fully decked out in suits and ties. It was also was Black Keys drummer Pat Carney's birthday on Friday. Auerbach had the crowd shout "Happy Birthday!" since Carney refused any singing on his behalf.
