Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire are about to showcase their passionate indie-rock to millions of viewers when they rock the stage at the Grammy awards -- where their third album, "The Suburbs," is up for Album of the Year -- on Sunday night (Feb.13). Before the Canadian indie-rock collective makes their Grammy show debut, however, the group played to a small crowd at the Ukrainian Culture Center of Los Angeles in a last-minute show last night (Feb. 11).

According to Rolling Stone, the eight-piece group played a 90-minute set consisting of tracks from masterful 2004 debut "Funeral," 2007 sophomore disc "Neon Bible" and last year's "The Suburbs" to a crowd of about 500 people. "We can't tell you how good for the spirit it is to play a small show like this," said frontman Win Butler, who also mentioned that one dollar from each show would be donated toward earthquake-relief effort in Haiti.

Although Arcade Fire have not revealed what track from "The Suburbs" they will perform at the Grammys, the group opened last night's show with intense rocker "Month of May" and closed it with album highlight "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)." The band will perform at the 53rd annual ceremony along with artists like Eminem, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.
