Pink Gets in Character For 'Raise Your Glass' Video

Lacey Terrell

Pink has always been the anti-pop-star pop star, marching to the beat of her own drum and championing those who do the same on her latest single, "Raise Your Glass." The song's video, which premiered today (Nov. 2) on Pink's official website, represents the "let your freak flag fly" ideology to a tee.

Video: Pink, "Raise Your Glass"

Pink toasts to all the "nitty-gritty, dirty little freaks" in "Raise Your Glass," and she represents many varieties of underdogs in the song's saucy video. The singer's personas include Rosie the Riveter, a sumo wrestler, a gangster and a high school nerd.

The Dave Meyers-directed clip shows Pink in bed with religious leaders, but it's just one of several hot-topic buttons Pink pushes in "Raise Your Glass." The video also celebrates gay marriage, with Pink posing as the performer at a gay wedding ceremony. There's even a kiss!

"Raise Your Glass" is the lead single and one of two new tracks off Pink's upcoming "Greatest Hits... So Far!!!" compilation, which hits retailers Nov. 16.
