Lauryn Hill

Lauryn Hill made her official stateside comeback on Saturday (Aug. 21) on day-one of this year's Rock the Bells festival in San Bernardino, Calif.

Decked out in a dress, a wool jacket and a red beanie in the warm California sun, the former Fugees MC started off her set with a sped-up version of reggae artist Mavado's "So Special," which got the crowd extra excited for her arrival back to the stage.

Seconds after, she broke into a fast-paced dubstep version of "Lost Ones" off her Grammy award-winning 1998 album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." Throughout the performance, Hill walked around the stage fiercely until stopping the song abruptly to start it over again.

The quality of the video is rough at best, but at the very least further proofs that Hill has returned from her extended hiatus. It's a good start for what seems to be a strong comeback for the legendary performer, who recently returned to the Billboard charts with her new song "Repercussions."
