Timberlake came on the tonight show to promote his new movie, "The Social Network" but got into a bit of trash-talking session when "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno asked him about the Lakers vs Miami Heat match-up. Now a Los Angeles local, the singer had nothing but confidence in team leader Kobe Bryant, despite the Miami Heat boasting an all-star line up featuring LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Timberlake had to put his money where his mouth was when Leno brought Bosh out from backstage. The basketball star was ready and waiting though when asked if he was a fan of JTimbs, "Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Justin Bieber." Timberlake answered back with a long quip about James' flip-flopping decision-making when it came to choosing a team to sign with this past Spring. Leno served as moderator between the two, announcing the terms of a bet for the Christmas day game between the Lakers and the Heat. If the Lakers lose, Timberlake agreed to wear a Bosh jersey to bed every night for a month.

"Glee" star and recent Emmy winner Jane Lynch also stopped by "Tonight" to promote the second season of her show which premiered last night (Sept. 21) on Fox. Lynch will be hosting an episode of "Saturday Night Live" in a few weeks and made sure to get some advice from Timberlake who has appeared on the sketch-comedy show several times.

OK Go were the musical guests on the show, decked in bright suits to perform their newest viral hit, "White Knuckles," which reached over one million Youtube views in 24 hours. Their newest CD, "The Blue Colour of the Sky" will be available Nov. 2.
