Florence Welch is known for big pipes, not big laughs, but it was a nice surprise when the Florence + the Machine frontwoman embraced humor on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend. Pish posh to her British lineage -- the songstress played a New Jack Swing singer crooning about playing footsie at the adult table during Thanksgiving dinner. Watch below.



Oh, and Florence performed some of her own tracks as well, trading the wretched neon pantsuit of the New Jack Thanksgiving skit for her usual black lace. Watch choir-assisted performances of "Shake It Out" and "No Light, No Light," both singles of Florence's "Ceremonials," below.
