Eminem goes over the edge in his superhero-inspired "Not Afraid" video, which premiered this morning (June 5) on Vevo. The clip starts out with Eminem teetering over the edge of a tall building while attacking his haters. "All those who look down on me, I'm tearing down your balcony," he seethes.

Eminem's "Not Afraid" is "Uplifting," Says Manager

He doesn't jump this time, though. Instead, he takes a walk through the streets of Newark, N.J. then ends up in a hall of mirrors, where he's confronted by distorted images of himself. Spooked, he runs away and smashes a brick wall with his bare hands, only to find himself standing at the edge of another, far more threatening ledge. When he finally jumps, it's a moment of triumph, as he ends up soaring through the skies Superman-style while rapping, "I shoot for the moon, but I'm too busy gazing at the stars."

"Not Afraid," which debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in May, is the first single from Eminem's "Recovery album (June 22). "Recovery" also features "Won't Back Down," a collaboration with Pink that leaked this week, and "Love the Way You Lie," a track featuring Rihanna
