Tyler, The Creator Interviews Nas

XXL

Tyler, The Creator, one of our 21 Under 21: Hottest Minors, took a pen and pad to interview one of hip-hop's greatest MC's, Nas. In the November 2011 issue of XXL, Tyler goes deep with questions ranging from music, religion, family, drugs, the 'net, and even Star Wars.

Clearly a fan, the Odd Future member asked Nasir Jones about staying around in the game. "You, Em, Jay, Snoop, like, you guys all started when you was exactly my age," Tyler said. "The fact that you guys are still here makes me just always think, like, F*ck, could I?"

Nasty Nas hurled a compliment right back. "Oh, you definitely can," he replied. "Someone like you is, you're interesting, for a lot of reasons. So someone like you, you can't wait to see what's next."

Lasting reportedly more than an hour and a half, we learn insights about both rap superstars in the exchange between both.

Nas Is 'Girl Crazy' In 'Nasty' Video

In an exclusive excerpt given to MissInfo.tv, Nas speaks of his 17 yr. old daughter, Destiny. "It's crazy, because when she was young, she was a baby, I thought, Aw, man, I'm gonna quit this rap shit before she becomes old enough to even know what I'm doing, what I did for a living. I never thought that I'd be still doing it while she's a teen, growing up. And I'm still in the game. It kind of f*cks me up."

Nas released the first video "Nasty" from his upcoming 10th studio album "Life Is Good," yesterday (Oct. 11) while earlier today (Oct. 12),  Tyler, The Creator released a video for the controversial satire "B*tch Suck D*ck" from his debut effort, "Goblin." "B*tch Suck D*ck" features Odd Future's Taco and Jasper.
