Rihanna has unleashed an artful, poignant music video about romance and addiction for "We Found Love," the first single from her forthcoming sixth studio album. The clip debuted Wednesday (Oct. 19) on Rih's official website.

The video finds Rihanna and British boxer/model Dudley O' Shaughnessy high on love and other drugs, wandering and getting into trouble in Northern Ireland. "We Found Love" begins with an Irish woman's narration: "It's like you're screaming but no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed that someone could that be that important, that without them you feel like nothing. No one will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel hopeless like nothing can save you. And when it's over and it's gone, you almost wish that you could have all that bad stuff back so you could have the good."

The Melina Matsoukas-directed clip soon becomes the "Requiem for a Dream" of music videos, using quick cuts to capture the neon colors, explicit sex, bathtub embraces and painful arguments of the couple's world. Whether or not it's by accident, Rihanna's music video beau is pretty reminiscent of Chris Brown -- especially when he's arguing with the pop star in his car.

While filming the clip in Bangor, Northern Ireland, Rihanna was scolded by a local farmer after appearing topless on his land, in a scene that appears at 1:03 in the video. "I thought it was inappropriate," Alan Graham told the BBC. "I requested them to stop and they did. I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands."

"Talk That Talk" is slated for a Nov. 21 release, barely a year after her last album, "Loud," was released and spawned hits like "S&M," "What's My Name" and "Only Girl (In The World)." "We Found Love," featuring Calvin Harris, has already climbed to No. 1 on the U.K. singles chart. Meanwhile, Rihanna appears on "Princess of China," a track from Coldplay's new album "Mylo Xyloto" that leaked online on Monday.
