The star power keeps on growing for the Grammy Nominations Concert Live with the announcement Wednesday that Rihanna, The Band Perry and Usher will all be performing.
Three of the biggest musical moments of the 1980s, Bruce Springsteen's album "Born in the U.S.A.," Paul Simon's "Graceland" and Tina Turner's single "What's Love Got to Do With It," are among the 25 recordings being inducted into the 2012 Grammy Hall of Fame, the Recording Academy announced Monday (Nov. 21).
On Wednesday (Nov. 30), a handful of today's hottest rappers will pay tribute to one of hip-hop's most memorable songs, "The Message," at "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown To Music's Biggest Night."
Rick Ross, Common, and Lupe Fiasco will join the orginators, Grandmaster Flash, Melle Mel, and Scorpio for a one-of-a-kind performance of the seminal rap song. The special performance will take place to honor the recording's recent addition to the 2012 Grammy Hall of Fame.
The live event, hosted by LL Cool J, will also feature an announcement from an iconic group regarding their monumental band reunion set to take place at the 54th Grammy Awards on Feb. 12, 2012.
Fans can watch the event live on CBS on Wed. at 10pm EST and catch performances also by Jason Aldean, Lady Gaga, Ludacris, Rihanna, Valerie Simpson, Mike Stoller, Sugarland, The Band Perry, and Usher.
