While Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon continue dodging questions about whether they're expecting a child, sources close to the couple have confirmed to the Juice that Carey is indeed pregnant. So let me be the first to extend a warm, though unofficial congratulations to the future mommy and daddy!

Although folks around them are bursting to speak openly about the bundle of joy, it might be a while before the pair officially announce being with baby. Just a few days after Mariah thanked fans for their "well wishes," saying, "When the time is right, everyone will know" via her Twitter account, her husband continued to be cryptic about the pregnancy. "I think 'superstitious' is the wrong word... I think it's more a spiritual thing," he told USMagazine.com yesterday (Aug. 30). "She wants to keep as much privacy as she possibly can."

Don't expect Mariah to keep her privacy for too long, though. I hear that she is four months pregnant already, meaning she won't be able to hide the baby bump for much longer. That also means she's  past the first trimester, or as Cannon put it to Us, the "certain time limit you're supposed to wait before you can actually officially say that you are [pregnant] and all that stuff."

To further juice up the speculations, a video clip of Mariah performing in São Paulo, Brazil, surfaced online last week, in which her belly is visibly more round than I remember.

No matter how long it is until a formal announcement is made, we wish the Carey-Cannons a wonderful term and a beautiful and healthy baby.
