Kid Cudi Drops Short Horror Film Collab With Shia LaBeouf, Cage (NSFW): Watch

Kid Cudi drops his chilling new short film for "Maniac" with Cage and actor/director Shia LaBeouf.

Kid Cudi plans to "bring punk rock back with a whole energy and sound" with the first single from WZRD, his alt-rock collaboration with "Day 'n' Nite" producer Dot Da Genius.

On Tuesday (Nov. 22), Cudi debuted the first single from WZRD's upcoming album, titled "Break." "Break" showcases Cudi half-singing like a spaced out Lenny Kravitz over guitar-heavy synths.

The duo, originally called 2 Be Contnuum, changed their name to WZRD, and are planning to drop the record on Jan. 30 (Cudi's birthday), according to Cudi's Twitter timeline. Cudi also noted that the record "does not contain any profanity or the usage of the word 'n*gga.' [It's] a universal album for everyone."
