50 Cent's relationship with Interscope Records has been tumultuous as of earlier this year. Yesterday (Dec. 12), Interscope refueled the Queens rapper's frustration when they allegedly released the artwork to his single, "Girls Go Wild," without his say.
"Man interscope put out the single art saying its coming out on the 31st but its not coming out. I'm not putting my album out till we are all on the same page," 50 tweeted.
Curtis continued to vent, "I try to do everything I can to keep my cool you know what? If they don't care I don't care I"m putting out a video now." In less than half an hr., 50 dropped the video for his new track "I Just Wanna," featuring fellow G-Unit member and close friend, Tony Yayo.
50 Cent Will Not Release Album, Plans to Release Dr. Dre's Next Single
In June, 50 Cent warned his fans that unless Interscope and him got "on the same page," he wouldn't release his fifth studio album this year. All seemed to have been sorted out until a months later (Sept.) the rapper cancelled the release after accusing Interscope of leaking his first single "I'm On It." 50 Cent threatened to leak a new Dr. Dre track as retribution but ultimately backpeddled. When will the madness end?
