50 Cent

50 Cent has been posting some crazy stuff on Twitter account lately, from his dream about Baby of Young Money to how "old people shouldn't be able to drive." The rapper's three million Twitter followers won't be hearing from him over the Labor Day weekend, however, as 50 has announced a break from tweeting in order to focus on penning his new album, "The Return of the Heartless Monster." He won't be gone for long, though -- it's only a five-day break. Apparently 50 is an incredibly quick writer when he's focused!

"Ok ladies and [gentlemen] I'm writing my new album. I will not be on Twitter again until Sept. 6. This album will be a classic," 50 said yesterday (Sept. 1).

The news follows Swizz Beatz' announcement on MTV's "RapFix Live" last week that the producer was working on new material with the rapper. 50 did send out a tweet earlier today lamenting T.I.'s arrest on drug charges, but then quickly reiterated his Twitter absence through Monday.

Until the rapper returns to tweeting next week, we'll have to be satisfied with the tricked-out new wallpaper that he unveiled on his Twitter on Monday (Aug. 30). The Twitter account now has pictures of the rapper in different suits, with other photos of him shirtless and playing sports super-imposed onto his body. Black smoke and words like "confident," "smart" and "funny" surround the rapper, who wrote that the new images are strictly "for ladies only."
