Ever wonder what pop's biggest stars would look like with a Skrillex 'do? So do we.

Rebecca Minkoff turned the runway into a house party with the help of Theophilus London on Friday night. This is London's third fashion week appearance, having already performed at the amfAR Gala and at the W Hotel in Union Square New York. Rocking the runway like he owned it, the Brooklyn rapper opened the fall/winter show with true hipster swagger.

Performing his single "I Stand Alone," London made his official runway debut in an all black leather ensemble complete with a studded jacket and belt, toped off with serious blinged-out necklaces and a baseball cap. His tough utilitarian look complemented the designer's bold, '70s-inspired collection. As he heated up the runway and became intertwined with models, Minkoff's collection unfolded as shades of deep purples, and cerulean blues, and strong patterns marched down the catwalk. Colored furs, python shorts, and sequined-pants created a bit of a savage mood. Overall, the line toyed with volume and certainly paid close attention to women's sexuality with a retro tinge.

Backstage, we caught up with London and chatted briefly about his fashion, runways, and models.

You just stepped off the runway after performing. What was it like?

It was my first official runway show. I did one before in Project Part like 4 or 5 years ago for a friend but this is my first legit one. This was way more fun! You get to follow the models and shit. I love interacting with the models. I will totally do this [again].

What was your favorite part of the show?

The beautiful Asian model! Also, I love the green leather studded jacket. That is my shit!

What was the process like working with Rebecca and selecting the songs?

We chose these songs twenty minutes before the show started. Rebecca doesn't know this but I'm an "on the fly" kind of guy. I like to do things last minute. I work better under pressure. Since this was my first time playing in a fashion show… I was like, let's play all my own songs. It was so tight! I'm psyched!
