Charice

Pop sensation Charice knows a good song when she hears it and for this week's Mashup Monday,  the 18-year-old Filipina goes Country with a heartfelt vocals-and-acoustic-guitar cover of Shania Twain's 1997 song "You're Still The One."

Charice Wins Over Moms, Aims for Peers

"That song reminds me of my mom. [She] used to be a vocalist in a band and they were always singing that song," Charice says of why she chose to cover the Country star's hit, which was released when Charice was only five years old. "I love the way Shania sang it and recorded it. It's just really amazing."

Both women have spent quality time on the Billboard charts. Twain's "You're Still The One" rose all the way to No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, and the album on which it appears, "Come On Over," managed the same feat on the Country Albums chart. Even though she's still in her teens, Charice has already managed to nab a No. 1 "Hot Dance Club Play" song -- "Pyramid," which features Iyaz -- and her self-titled 2010 album reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
