U2's Musical Stalls, Green Day's Soldiers On

In today's Daily Noise, brought to you by Fuse and Billboard.com, the Spider-Man musical penned by U2's Bono and The Edge has hit a snag. Variety reports that the production has ground to a halt, "due to investment issues." The musical based on Green Day's "American Idiot," on the other hand, is set for a September debut. Tickets went on sale today. This week's big mover on the Hot 100 is Jay Sean, whose "Down" (featuring Lil Wayne) has jumped to No. 6. And in our road report, we caught up with Marilyn Manson, who talks about how he's focused on not being self-indulgent on his current "Mayhem" tour.
