Aventura Tops Winners At Billboard Latin Music Awards

Aventura, the urban bachata group from the Bronx that has re-energized the tropical music scene, was the big winner at the 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards, snaring nine trophies, including Latin album and digital album of the year for "The Last" (Premium).

Friday's Daily Noise, brought to you by Fuse and Billboard.com, comes straight from the red carpet at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Puerto Rico. The brightest stars in Latin music gathered to celebrate and enjoy performances from the best of the best.

On the red carpet, we caught up with Paulina Rubio, a finalist in four categories, as well as New Latin Artist of the Year finalist Jencarlos, Wyclef Jean, Ivy Queen, Nelly Furtado, Thalia, Spirit of Hope Award winner Marc Anthony and Luis Fonsi, who performed at the awards with "Sing-Off" winning a cappella group Nota.
