Ericka Lee says she has the text messages to prove that the Toronto rapper acknowledged her significant contribution.

With his 11th No. 1 on Billboard's Rap Songs chart, Drake rewrites the mark for most leaders in the list's 23-year history.

I.e., when it comes to topping the tally the most, Drake, in less than three years, has become the best the chart ever had.

Drake earns his 11th No. 1 on the ranking, which launched in Billboard as a sales survey the week of March 11, 1989, and transformed to an airplay-based chart in the June 8, 2002, issue, as "Make Me Proud," featuring Nicki Minaj, rises 2-1.

With the ascension of "Proud," Drake breaks a tie with Diddy for the most No. 1s on Rap Songs. Diddy rang up 10 rulers on the chart between 1996's Lil' Kim-fronted "No Time" and 2003's "Shake Ya Tailfeather," with Nelly and Murphy Lee.

Drake burst onto Rap Songs with his 15-week debut No. 1 "Best I Ever Had" in 2009, marking the chart's second-longest reign; Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott's "Hot Boyz," featuring Nas, Eve and Q-Tip, racked 18 weeks at No. 1 in 1999-2000.

Here is a recap of Drake's 11 Rap Songs No. 1s:

Title (Weeks at No. 1), Year
"Best I Ever Had" (15), 2009
"Forever" (one) (featuring Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem), 2009
"Say Something" (four) (Timbaland featuring Drake), 2010
"Over" (four), 2010
"Fancy" (one) (featuring T.I. & Swizz Beatz), 2010
"Right Above It" (five) (Lil Wayne featuring Drake), 2010
"Aston Martin Music" (three) (Rick Ross featuring Drake & Chrisette Michele), 2010
"Moment 4 Life" (nine) (Nicki Minaj featuring Drake), 2011
"I'm on One" (13) (DJ Khaled featuring Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne), 2011
"Headlines" (seven), 2011
"Make Me Proud" (one, to-date) (featuring Nicki Minaj), 2012

"Proud" marks Minaj's third Rap Songs No. 1. She had previously led with "Your Love" (eight weeks, 2010) and "Moment 4 Life" - featuring Drake - for nine weeks beginning a year ago this month.

"Proud" spends a second week at No. 1 on the overall R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, where the track is Drake's eighth leader.

The song's parent album "Take Care" has tallied seven weeks at No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and sold 1.4 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
