With Rihanna and Britney Spears sharing space atop the Billboard Hot 100 with "S&M," and with Spears having released a remix of "Till the World Ends" featuring Ke$ha (the song's co-writer) and Nicki Minaj, all-female collaborations are enjoying a rare spotlight.

As reported in Chart Beat Thursday, "S&M" marks just the fourth Hot 100 No. 1 by solo women singing together, following Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya and P!nk's "Lady Marmalade" (2001); Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" (1998); and, Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer's "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)" (1979).

Still, numerous all-female pairings have scaled Billboard charts in recent years. Here is a look at 10, ranging from pop, rock and dance to country, Latin and R&B/hip-hop.

Before her current high-profile remix, this first single from Spears' album "In the Zone" spent two weeks atop Dance/Club Play Songs in 2003-04.

Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey
"When You Believe"
Houston has sent two other songs with female singers in addition to this 1999 No. 15 Hot 100 hit even higher: "Count on Me," with CeCe Winans (No. 8, 1996), and "Heartbreak Hotel," featuring Faith Evans and Kelly Price (No. 2, 1999).

Mariah Carey featuring Nicki Minaj
"Up Out My Face"
Like Houston, Carey has also enjoyed hits with more than one female vocal partner. Similarly, following this No. 39-peaking track on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Minaj has charted collaborations with Keyshia Cole and Rihanna.

Reba McEntire with Linda Davis
"Does He Love You"
In 1993, McEntire teamed up with Davis for this Country Songs No. 1. In recording the song, Davis took time out from her other job: as mother of then-seven-year-old Hillary Scott, known now as the female voice of Lady Antebellum. (With her group, Scott has scored four Country Songs No. 1s).

Reba Duet with Kelly Clarkson
"Because of You"
Again bitten by the duet bug in 2007, McEntire paired with Kelly Clarkson for this remake of the latter's solo 2005 No. 7 Hot 100 hit. The duet version, which reached No. 2 on Country Songs, appears on McEntire's album "Duets," on which she also shares vocals with LeAnn Rimes, Trisha Yearwood, Carole King and Faith Hill.
