Videos of the Week: John Mayer Breaks Down, Drake Explodes, Carrie Underwood Gets Wormy

Drake in his Sprite commercial.

In this week's top 10 videos that had everyone buzzing, John Mayer's apology train hit Nashville, Drake debuted his Terminator-esque Sprite commercial, Bob Dylan sang for civil rights at the White House, and Carrie Underwood made a wormy appearance on Sesame Street. Take a look.

1) John Mayer's Onstage Breakdown

John Mayer's performance of "Gravity" at a Nashville show Wednesday night carried some hefty emotional baggage, as the singer apologized to fans for his now infamous Playboy interview. Of his band members (five of which are African American), Mayer said, "They're not on this stage because they support what I say. They are on this stage because they support my self as a possible future grownup."

Bonus Moment of Self-Reflection: Ellen DeGeneres talked about her debut on "American Idol" and gave us a visual that no one particularly wanted: Simon Cowell getting touchy-feely under the judge's table. (Watch)

2) Bob Dylan Performs For Obama

Legendary singer/songwriter Bob Dylan performed "The Times They Are A' Changin' at "In Performance at the White House: A Celebration of Music From the Civil Rights Movement", which aired on PBS Thursday night.

Bonus Clip For a Cause: The music video for the Simon Cowell-orchestrated, all-star cover of "Everybody Hurts," featuring Susan Boyle, Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi and more. (Watch)

3) Drake Debuts Sprite Commerical

Canadian rapper/crooner Drake takes a powerful sip of his new favorite soft drink in this ad, which features his own posse cut "Forever" as the soundtrack.

Bonus Commercial: Aretha Franklin and Liza Minnelli play up their diva status in a new spot for Snickers. (Watch)

4) Andrew Garcia Brings Paula Abdul Back To "Idol"

"American Idol" hopeful Andrew Garcia sealed his frontrunner status during Hollywood week by performing an acoustic cover of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up," reminding everyone why the show just isn't the same without the zany judge.

Bonus Andrew Garcia: Before he even auditioned for "Idol," Garcia was already a viral star, as witnessed in this stellar Michael Jackson medley he and a friend did for YouTube. (Watch)

5) Yeasayer Rocks 'Late Night'

Yeasayer proved why they deserve the title of "everyone's favorite new indie band" with this "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" performance of the single "Ambling Alp," from their just-released album "Odd Blood." Frontman Chris Keating's fancy footwork is by far the highlight.

Bonus Wriggly Performance: Carrie Underwood's creepy crawly alter-ego, "Miss Carrie Underworm," appeared on Sesame Street to tell kids why she's "pleased as punch to be a worm." (Watch)
