Speculation about the future of Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band was addressed on brucespringsteen.net last night: According to a brief post there will be both a new album and a tour in 2012.
Bob Seger, 66, certainly hasn't forgotten how to rock. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, the Detroit icon is in the midst of his second North American tour this year.
Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger pay be part of the over-60 club, but don't you dare drop the word "old"... unless you're discussing the song they teamed up for at Seger's gig last night (Dec. 1) at NYC's Madison Square Garden. Watch below.
Seger busted out his 1979 hit early in the set and introduced "A little Christmas treat, Mr. Bruce Springsteen," to a rousing round of applause. The two traded vocals, with Bruce adding some guitar in the bridge.
Both have announced plans for new records in 2012, with Bruce to tour and keynote SXSW in '12 as well.
