Lil Wayne's long awaited "Tha Carter IV" is almost here, with a new mixtape thrown in for good measure.

Tunechi confirms to MTV that the fourth installment in his "Tha Carter" series is officially completed and will drop in late August. "The album is done and it'll be out August 29," he says. "It's totally done."

Though "Tha Carter IV" will be here shortly, Wayne is also issuing an apology for the delay by way of a new mixtape, appropriately titled "Sorry 4 the Wait." The 10-track album will be similar to his 2009 offering, "No Ceilings," featuring Wayne's signature raps over other artist's beats.

"Tha Carter IV" will include Weezy's slowed down ode to the ladies, "How to Love," which he admits was inspired by the late Tupac Shakur.

"That song is just sweeping the world. It's touching every woman, that's what it was for," Wayne told MTV. "It was like Tupac had 'Keep Ya Head Up' and it was a message to women and little girls across the world just to keep your head up even though things are hard."

According to XXL, "Tha Carter IV" will also feature a posse cut with Nas, Shyne and Jadakiss, while other guests on the album include Busta Rhymes, Bun B, Tech N9ne, John Legend and Cee Lo Green.

Keep an eye out for Wayne's "Sorry 4 the Wait" mixtape, which will be released on either July 12 or 13.
