While talking to Billboard.com last week about the American Country Awards, host Trace Adkins was quoted as saying "You're going to get some interesting outcomes, I think." The show, which aired on FOX Monday night (Dec. 5) from Las Vegas, was hosted by Adkins and actress/singer Kristin Chenoweth. In addition to the performances from the emcees, other performance highlights included a first-ever award show appearance from the Pistol Annies, a greatest hits medley from Alabama -- presented with the "Greatest Hits" award -- and Toby Keith, who closed out the show after being named Artist of the Decade.
