The Latin music industry is readying for tonight's Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will be broadcast live on Telemundo and feature performances by Juan Luis Guerra, Joan Sebastian, Thalia and many more.
Meanwhile, we spoke with Marc Anthony, winner of this year's Spirit of Hope Award for his philanthropic work in support of children's health and education.
Anthony talks about his upcoming album "Iconos," which celebrates Latin artists and songs "that have withstood the test of time". "They just don't write songs like this anymore," says Anthony. "I wanted to celebrate artists that had the guts at the time to be so daring."
Anthony also talks about the joys of being a father, and the value of having a wife in Jennifer Lopez who "understands the idiosyncrasies of the business" and can tell you what you need to hear honestly.
