Country Stars Will Invade Talk Shows in Lead-up to ACM Awards

The lead-up to April 6’s 49th annual Academy of Country Music Awards on CBS will feature a country music invasion of network television.
 
Co-hosts Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw have shot customized ACM promos for CBS, Brad Paisley will guest star on CBS’ comedy series “Crazy Ones” on April 3 and ACM-themed showcases will be part of “The Price is Right’s” prize packages all week.
 
Country stars will spend a fair amount of time on talk show couches next week as well. Bryan and Shelton will take turns on “The Talk,” appearing April 3 and 4, respectively, while Florida Georgia Line is booked to appear on “CBS This Morning” on April 4.

Other daytime talk show appearances include Justin Moore on “Queen Latifah” on April 4; Dan + Shay are on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on April 1 and “Ellen” April 4; and New Artist of the Year nominee Brett Eldredge will be on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on April 1.
 
Meanwhile, Gannett will be filming the April 4 “Outnumber Hunger Live!” concert in Las Vegas and will broadcast it as a special two weeks later.
 
The ACMs will be broadcast at 8 p.m. from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Bryan, Lambert, Shelton, George Strait, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, the Band Perry, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith and Lady Antebellum with Stevie Nicks will perform on the show. More performers will be announced next week.
