Parents be warned. Miley Cyrus is returning to the MTV stage – this time in Amsterdam.

The pop star will perform at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards in the Dutch capital, the broadcaster said today. She’ll join the likes of previously announced performers Katy Perry and The Killers.

Miley and MTV have history. When Miley last performed at a major MTV event – the MTV VMAs in August --  she twerked-up a storm with Robin Thicke that’ll likely go down in the books as pop’s biggest moment of 2013.

Since that night, Miley has smashed international sales charts. And she has infuriated parents and upholders of moral-standards the world over. The likes of artists Sinead O’Connor and Charlotte Church have also weighed in with some advice of their own.

Miley Cyrus' VMAs Performance: Offensive or Awesome?

Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the MTV EMA nominations with five nominations each. Cyrus and Thicke follow closely behind with four nominations, as do Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. Cyrus is up for best pop and best female artist, and best video for her single "Wrecking Ball."

The 2013 MTV EMAs will be held at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on Nov. 10. The annual event began in 1994 and has visited the Netherlands only once before -- the Rotterdam edition in 1997.

The EMAs will be hosted by MC Redfoo of LMFAO, its backstage host is Ariana Grande and Will Ferrell will appear in “Ron Burgundy” character.

MTV viewers can vote on such EMA awards as best song, best pop, best new act, best live, biggest fans and best U.S. act.

The 2013 MTV EMA will air in the United States on Nov. 10 at 7pm ET/PT and via the network's international carriers on the same day.
