Filmmakers Lena Dunham, Jason Blum and Casey Neistat will deliver keynote sessions at the SXSW Film Conference and Festival running March 7-15 in Austin, Texas.
The festival announced its first batch of panels, workshops and Digital Domain sessions for 2014. The daily keynote session is a new addition. “Our first three keynotes epitomize the root of what SXSW Film stands for: Singular vision, DIY creation, and gleefully coloring outside the established lines,” head of SXSW Film Janet Pierson said in a statement.
Blum is the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions that has produced the "Paranormal Activity" and "Insidious" franchises; Dunham is creator, executive producer, writer, director and stra of HBO's "Girls"; and Neistat is writer, director, editor and star of the HBO series "The Neistat Brothers."
