Live Nation has inked a deal to become the exclusive booker for Coachella, Calif.'s Spotlight 29 Casino, which houses the 2,200-capacity Spotlight Showroom theater.

Prior to its booking agreement with Los Angeles-based Live Nation, entertainment at the Spotlight 29 Casino was booked in-house. Specific details of the new deal were not disclosed.

The first concert under the agreement will be an Oct. 6 performance by Rick Springfield. Tickets go on sale Aug. 3, ranging from $40 to $55. Additional shows will be announced shortly.

Along with the Spotlight 29 Casino, Live Nation has an existing booking deal with San Diego's Pala Casino, Spa and Resort. The complex consists of the 2,500-seat Palomar Starlight Theater (outdoor) and the 2,200-seat Pala Events Center (indoor).
