AEG Live, the concert promotion arm of Los Angeles-based AEG, has announced the opening of a new regional office in Minneapolis, to be headed by former OCESA Presents senior talent buyer Brad Saks. He reports directly to Larry Vallon, senior VP of national booking at AEG Live.

The Minneapolis office will consist of Saks and an assistant, with marketing, accounting and ticketing support from staffers based in AEG Live's St. Louis office. While booking talent in a variety of clubs and theaters throughout the market, Saks' primary focus will be promoting concerts at the approximately 19,000-seat Target Center, which is owned by the city of Minneapolis and managed by AEG Facilities.

With a presence in such cities as Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, New York and Nashville, Minneapolis marks AEG Live's 12th regional office in the United States.

Prior to joining AEG Live, Saks was a senior talent buyer at New York-based OCESA Presents, where he booked shows throughout Mexico. During his time at OCESA, Saks was responsible for promoting My Chemical Romance, Daft Punk and Avril Lavigne at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, along with Bloc Party and Kaiser Chiefs at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. In addition, he has also served as a talent buyer for Metropolitan Talent Presents in New York.
