TicketsNow president and CEO Cheryl Rosner will exit the company, effective Dec. 19, according to a spokesperson for TicketsNow, a subsidiary of Ticketmaster.

Rosner will be replaced by Shawn Freeman, who will serve as president of TicketsNow and senior VP of resale for Ticketmaster North America. He previously served as chief technology officer at TicketsNow.

Rosner was not immediately available for comment, but a TicketsNow spokesperson says she chose to depart from the company to focus on philanthropic activities. Rosner joined TicketsNow in the summer of 2007, and prior to that she enjoyed executive roles at Expedia and Hotels.com.

Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based TicketsNow launched in 1999. Ticketmaster acquired the secondary ticketing company earlier this year for approximately $265 million.
