Buddy Lee Attractions (BLA), the Nashville-based booking agency, has acquired Atlanta agency Metro Talent Group (MTG), Billboard.biz has learned. MTG founder and owner Cass Scripps will join the BLA agency for artist representation.

“Our company is very excited about Cass and his roster coming on board at BLA,” says BLA president Kevin Neal said in a statement. “Cass is one of the most respected agents in the world, and for 17 years built a tremendously successful independent agency in Atlanta.”

Scripps added, “I have weighed several options during my 20 + year career and after working with Kevin and members of the BLA team, it was clear that BLA had something special to offer.”

Scripps brings artists Corey Smith, David Ryan Harris, Drivin N’ Cryin, Edwin McCain, and Kevn Kinney to the BLA roster. He will split his time between Nashville and Atlanta for the next six months and then will be permanently based in Nashville.
