The first-ever Music for Champions benefit event to help fight the battle against cancer will take place March 19 at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL, and will feature a performance by multiple CMT Award-winning group Rascal Flatts. A second major act will be announced some time in the next few weeks.
The benefit concert will kick off the 34th annual Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard, and all proceeds will benefit both the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research. The event will also include a live auction.
The T.J. Martell Foundation was started in 1975 by music industry executive Tony Martell, and is dedicated to raising money to fund cancer and AIDS research.
Rascal Flatts will be gearing up to release their eighth album, Changed, on Big Machine Records April 3. Individual tickets for the benefit concert are on sale now, with prices starting at $50. More information can be found at MusicForChampions.com.
