The artist take on the live business will begin with Road Cases: The Artist Development Case Study with Team Holly Williams. Though she owns an unmatched pedigree, acclaimed singer/songwriter Holly Williams (yes, of THOSE Williamses) has yet to see the major breakthrough that her songs, on-stage charisma, and body of work would seem to warrant. That will likely change in 2013 with Williams' third album The Highway, due Feb. 5, 2013 on Williams' own Georgiana imprint.

Team Holly will discuss how they will connect the dots between Williams' family legacy, her unique songwriting and singing talent, her potential as a lifestyle magnet through her food and fashion endeavors, her business acumen in founding the H Audrey clothing boutique, and the set up and touring support of the new record The Highway. It all starts with a plan, and we'll hear the groundbreaking Holly Williams plan on this session.

Taking part will be Holly Williams, her manager Ali Harnell of Evolve Management, also senior VP at TMG/AEG Live; publicist Carla Sacks, Sacks & Co.; agent Shannon Casey at Creative Artists Agency, and Topspin's Wayne Leeloy.

The second Road Cases session dives deep into the artist perspective with Here's What We Really Think About Your Room, Your Food, Your Fans and Your Event. On this session, veteran touring artists will weigh in on what they need to make a show great, and what they hate to see the most when they pull up to the room. Featured artists include iron man Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers Band, the Dead, etc.; Robert "Kool" Bell, founding member of Kool & the Gang; Mark Farner, a founding member of Grand Funk Railroad and a hard-touring solo artist; country great Ronnie Dunn, formerly of famed duo Brooks & Dunn and now embarking on a solo career; soul stylist Tre Williams, Tre Williams & the Revelations; and New Kids On The Block's Donnie Wahlberg, taking time off the set of "Blue Bloods" to do this panel.

The 9th Annual Billboard Touring Conference will also feature keynote sessions with Irving Azoff and the Coachella/Goldenvoice team of Paul Tollett, Skip Paige, and Bill Fold. For more information, head here.
