U.K-based indie opened an office in San Francisco three years ago, and has released efforts from the Twilight Singers and Bjork, among others.

EMI-owned Caroline Distribution will soon handle upcoming releases from San Francisco-based label One Little Indian. Beginning Jan. 1, 2007, Caroline will start distributing the label, which is headquartered in the U.K. and opened U.S. offices in 2003.

The San Francisco offshoot of One Little Indian signs artists exclusively for North America, and also will distribute some U.K. acts. The U.S. label is headed by managing director Celia Hirschman. When One Little Indian set up shop in San Francisco, the label inked a three-year dear with Navarre Corp.

Via its two offices, One Little Indian has been associated with such artists as Bjork, The Sugarcubes, the Sneaker Pimps, Jesse Malin and The Twilight Singers, among others. On Jan. 23, 2007, the label will re-release Bjork's soundtrack to Matthew Barney's film "Drawing Restraint 9" as a dual-disc set, as well as a new Twilight Singers EP, "A Stitch in Time." The latter is currently available on iTunes.
