The Universal Music Group's indie distribution arm Fontana has reached an exclusive deal with hard rock label Trustkill Records. Effective immediately, Fontana will begin handling Trustkill product for the U.S. market. Releases from the Tinton Falls, N.J.-based indie were previously worked by Sony BMG's RED Distribution.

Trustkill had enormous success in 2006 in working with Jive Records act Bullet For My Valentine, and has also released albums from such successful hard rockers as Bleeding Through and Throwdown. Upcoming Trustkill releases include Hopesfall, Bedlight for Blue Eyes and Throwdown, among many others.

Trustkill has been expanding its business beyond CD sales in recent years. The label has launched a boutique publisher in Bullet Tooth Publishing, whose catalog is administered by Universal, a film division in Tragedy Features and a mobile unit in MobileThreat.
