Web retailer Insound.com has realigned itself with Pitchforkmedia.com, one of the Web's top destinations for indie-related news and reviews. Pitchfork reviews will once again link to Insound.com.

About one year ago, Pitchfork had switched to AmpCamp, the indie music offshoot of clothier Neighborhoodies.com. A top seller of indie content, Insound.com had been associated with Pitchfork since its near beginnings. Losing the Pitchfork connection was a big blow, says Insound found Matt Wishnow.

"There were our biggest referrer," Wishnow says. "We had to do a lot more of Google keyword advertising when we weren't with them."

Insound was instrumental in breaking such acts as Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, as the New York-based Web retailer was one of the few outlets that carried the act in its early days.
