As expected, EMI-owned Caroline Distribution has confirmed that it will distribute releases from U.K.-based Rough Trade Records in the U.S. Rough Trade comes to Caroline through the indie's relationship with management firm/label group World's Fair, which will provide marketing services for the label.

The news was first tipped in this week's Billboard, and Caroline will handle physical and digital distribution for the imprint. Spring Rough Trade releases include the solo offering from Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, "Jarvis," due April 3, and BrakesBrakesBrakes' "The Beatific Visions," due May 8. Later this year, Rough Trade will issue new sets from the Veils and British Sea Power.
