There will be a celebration of the life of Frank Mazza, a 30-year music sales executive, who died suddenly of a heart attack in Union, N.J., on May 14. He was 52.

Mazza was a long-time indie sales representative, spending about half of his music industry career at RED. He began his career at JEM and after leaving RED also worked for the Alternative Distribution Alliance. Mazza also was a singer-songwriter, who headed up Ulan Bator, a U.S.-based indie band.

Mazza is survived by his parents, Lorraine and Frank J. Mazza, his sister Kathy Martin and her husband Bruce, his nephew Trevor and niece Colleen.
