Slacker Radio has expanded its roster of Latin stations with the addition of six Univision Radio stations to its palate. Five of them will be live streams of major terrestrial Univision stations:  romantic KLVE in Los Angeles (107.5 FM, K-Love), uptempo WRTO in Miami (98.3 FM, Mix 98.3), pop WKAQ FM in Puerto Rico (KQ-105), oldies KKMR in Houston (Recuerdos, 106.5 FM) and regional Mexican KSCA in Los Angeles (LA 101.9 FM).

The sixth station, Univision America on Slacker, will be talk radio produced specifically for the music service. “We have seen a shift in our audience’s listening habits, and we are evolving to be everywhere they are and on the platforms they are listening to -- online and on the go, with services like Slacker,” said Univision Radio EVP of content and entertanment Evan Harrison in a statement.

The Univision addition brings the total number of Latin stations on Slacker up to 17, including genres like rock alternativo and old school Chicano.
