BMG Music Publishing and Taxim Edition, Turkey's largest music publisher, have inked a joint deal that will provide global support for Taxim songwriters.

Under the new agreement, BMG will represent Taxim's roster of local artists outside of Turkey. Taxim will continue to sub-publish BMG's catalogue of more than 1 million copyrights in Turkey.

Taxim, which was established in 2002 by partners Mine Aksoy, Michael Lang and Mustafa Oguz, represents such Turkish composers as Tarkan, Mustafa Sandal, Serdar Ortac and Fahir Atakoglu.

Along with BMG, Taxim sub-publishes Sony/ATV, Peer Music, Bug Music and Good Groove Music, among others.
