Following the departure of Mike Weller as managing director of EMI Music Publishing Germany on April 1, the music publisher has appointed two people to lead the German company.

Andreas Kiel, until now senior VP creative, and Markus Hedke, until now finance director, will jointly lead the firm as executive VPs, EMI Music Publishing Germany.

Kiel is responsible for sales and acquisitions, while Hedke takes duties for finance and operations. Both are based in Hamburg.

Hedke is also responsible for the operational support of the EMI Music Publishing companies in Central Europe.

Kiel and Hedke report to Peter Ende, the music publisher's president and CEO Continental Europe, based in Hamburg.
