The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) board of directors has elected Evan Medow as director. He currently serves as president and CEO at Windswept.

Medow helped found Windswept Pacific Entertainment Co. in 1988. He served at its successor, Windswept Holdings LLC, as president and CEO since 1991. Prior to Windswept, Medow ran a private law practice, which he began after a number of roles at various labels and publishers. Those include Irving/Almo/Rondor Music (A&M Records' publishing operations), where he served as head of business affairs/international for 8 years.

Additionally, he is a past president of the Association of Independent Music Publishers, and is currently on the boards of the National Music Publishers Association and The Harry Fox Agency.
