Print-music publishing company Hal Leonard has launched a Web site allowing choir directors to access and purchase copies of music.

From the site, ChoralMusicDirect.com, users can browse selections by voicing, style, series, composer, arranger or performance time to find the music they want for their choirs. Users can also view the full octavo and hear a recorded demonstration via an MP3 file.

Choir directors can then purchase the piece by downloading it to their home or school computers, or purchase it through a network of participating Hal Leonard digital retailers.

Last month, the publisher also launched Web sites that provide concert band, marching band, jazz ensembles and orchestra leaders online access to the Hal Leonard catalog of print music.
