Music publisher Music Sales Corp. has acquired the publishing rights to Harrison Music, containing the catalogue of 20th Century lyricist/composer Bob Russell.

Russell, who died in 1970, worked with a number of collaborators during his career, including Quincy Jones, Harry Warren, Duke Ellington, Paul Weston and Carl Sigman. Artists who have recorded his songs include Nat "King" Cole, Johnny Mathis, Natalie Cole, Harry Connick, Jr., Neil Diamond, Tony Bennett and Billie Holliday among many others.

The announcement was jointly made by Music Sales president Barrie Edwards and Molly Hyman, president of Harrison Music Corp.
